I look forward to each issue. So many interesting topics - from ancient times to the present. A sound prescription value.

Like several other reviewers, I find that I really look forward to each months issue. The recent holiday promotion that offered past issues for $1 each was terrific and I took the opportunity to fill-in the back issues that I was missing. As an American student of history and one who has traveled and worked professionally in England, I am always intrigued by British interpretations of not only their history--but ours as well! The recent special issue focusing on our Civil War is a prime example! I have not experienced any of the technical problems that frustrated some earlier reviewers. Apparently the latest update corrected most -if not all - of them.

Very enjoyable. Interesting articles wee written. Coordinated podcasts add depth.

This is one of the easiest magazine apps to use that Ive seen. Im trying to get away from paper copies as much as possible and this app makes BBC History a doddle in the park. I also really enjoy every issue - an excellent magazine for anyone interested in history.

Adore this magazine. The graphics are intuitive and engaging. My kids enjoy reading and interacting with the history within. Worth every penny.

Cannot say enough good things about this magazine. It is well written, historically accurate, and has great graphics and pictures. The interactive feature is a plus. Well worth the subscription price.

This is a very informative and interesting magazine.

Keep up the good work. I like the constant improvements to the electronic edition. Added sidebars are interesting. Next step is links to academic articles relevant to the subject at hand so we can dive even deeper into the subject matter. Jim DR

Simply the best

As one should expect from the title of the magazine, excellence in fact and reporting. You do not have to be an Anglophile to appreciate a well done product.

I love the magazine but since iOS 8 the app crashes on startup on my iPad and I cant read any of the issues.

An absolutely wonderful magazine. I look forward to devouring it every month. I have anyways loved English history and this magazine satisfies my craving for more. Wonderful articles and photos. Beautifully done and so easy to read on my iPod. I recommend to everyone who would like to learn more about history.

Really enjoy the articles and the wide variety printed. Cost per issue is a little high as well as the subscription. Do wish they would save the article you are reading when you close the app.

Even for those who didnt pay attention in high school a love of history can be satisfied. Along side History Revealed magazine you can enter a world that comes along side your love of historical fiction.

Lightweight articles. A bit repetitive over time - many of the same subjects crop up over again. And the price is just a little high. Especially since subscribers are restricted to downloading editions published while their subscription is active, unlike all other magazines I subscribe to which allow unlimited access to back issues while the subscription is active.

One of my favorite magazines. However, since updating the app to its current iteration the app crashes on startup and Ive lost all my issues and will have to re download them again once problem is fixed. I tried every fix I know and its still failing. (They have released an update to the app and all issues are resolved).

I really enjoy reading this magazine. Im a civil engineer by education but ive always been sort of a history fan. This publication is easy to read and, as far as I can tell, the articles are well researched and solidly discussed. English is not my mother tongue, but as I said before, this magazine is usually written in a friendly and easy to understad prose.

As an amateur student of British medieval history, I have found the articles and special issues on the13th-16th century to be very enlightening. I have also been introduced to a wide range of new authors to pursue!
